Today’s deck is the Wild Eden Tarot.

This one has a shocking amount of nudity. Shocking in the sense that I don’t remember any of the usual “are you 18 or older” warning popping up for this. I know I’d remember a deck promting those.
The deck is good though! and I don’t mean that just for the nudity.
Today’s reading is warning that in coming times where choice will be open I should be careful to not get taken advantage of.
It MIGHT sound patronizing, but on the other hand it might apply to things like “FINE I’ll pay extra let’s just get this over with”-type scenarios.

The girls are ready and I crave photography, so out I go!
…riiiiight after having lunch. I had to make a transfer at Umeda anyways.
One bowl of chazuke later, I went to Sakuranomiya to find photo spots.
The day, well, night rather, was nice. Chilly and there weren’t THAT many people around, so I had enough leeway to start taking pics and… I’d need it.

First, of course, was Luna. Remembering the pics I took back in… May? at Meoto Iwa I tried taking a pic using a 8-pointed star filter since it gives photos a really nice old-school feel.
The focus, however, proved tricky.
Now I can see at the first pic and be satisfied, but when you only have the camera’s screen it might look less so, and to be fair that screen is a good metric in general.

This looked better but something about the pose didn’t feel right.
I try to adjust and go back to the camera and…

The flash just… changed what it was detecting, I guess?

I spent a good 10 minutes or so playing with the settings to varying degrees of success, after which I figured I should just pray that they look better on a bigger screen (this happens very often).

Up next was Sol and you can see the effect the filter has on the face. Now imagine that you’re only looking at it on a small screen that’s like… hold on…
That’s 7.5cm (3 inches). No matter the resolution you’re gonna feel like there’s something off.

So I switched to a “White Powder Mist” filter and you can see the difference in crispness, but also see how it changes the way the lights look.
As intentional as I’d like to say the color coordination has been so far, that’s something I’m only noticing here and now writing this. Rarely do I get “red accents on red leaves” sort of coordination on purpose.
By this point something was feeling off about Sol, like I’m thinking “I’ve done this pose so many times, I can even pinpoint the month I last used it, why does it feel weird?”.
I know why as I write this, but I will keep you, the reader, in slight suspense about it.
So anyway, after that set I made my way slowly towards Yodoyabashi Station. This is a normal route I take where I start at Sakuranomiya, go through Tenmabashi, and end up in Yodoyabashi and go back. It’s a neat route because it takes you through quite a few different sights.
Incidentally, Sakuranomiya is geographically closer to my house than Tenmabashi or Yodoyabashi, but because of train routes it tends to take longer to get there.
By this point I’m thinking about the next shot. The usual patter dictates next shot would be a group shot with both, but then I see this.

And I had the chance of… not a lifetime but definitely not a common chance, ’cause would you believe I don’t have a photo of Luna with the moon?

Now I do.
Here is where you can really see the effect of the wash for her hair, note how translucent it is, how the lights in the back seep through it.
Then, as I’m packing things up I think…
…what if I take off the filter in the lens?

Well, not like the moon is extra defined, but it was worth a try.

It wasn’t long before I found another spot for Sol and something is still off. The photos are fine, but it’s like something that should be easy is taking way too much extra effort.
But regardless, I keep walking and make it to Tenmabashi and… so a while ago they added this fountain.
I don’t know WHEN they added it or who controls it since it plays music sometimes, but it’s a thing, it’s a pretty thing. There’s a nearby spot that also throws water but I’m wondering if they moved the fountain’s location or something.
Regardless, cool spot for the last photos of the night.

The rest of the way back was uneventful aside from the fact that my left hamstring started bothering me. It felt like something or someone kept hitting the back of my knee but I assume that’s just because, well… all the walking and such.
I had a bit of energy left when I got back so I actually made a new post for the Uma Musume blog on a random topic I was remembering the other day.
By the way, if you’re wondering what the fuck (if indeed any the fuck) prompted today’s title…

Yeah…
