Today’s deck is the Unfolding Path Tarot.
Deck is good! To be honest if a deck made by someone called “Athene Noctua” wasn’t good I’d feel SO betrayed…
Today’s reading actually feels like it reflects the main overall point about today which I’ll highlight in a moment.
I woke up straight to a business meeting.
Well… it kinda wasn’t? What happened was that the Mexican dudes I met the other day wanted to see their chances with one of our publishers, so I told my contact there if he had chance to meet up for a while. It was mostly an excuse to meet up since I hadn’t seen him in at least two years.
So business was talked but it was mostly catching up about life, really.
And this is where today’s reading comes in: The cards feel like they’re reflecting what I wthought in that moment, how the main thing I miss about having an active project being sold around is the fact that I work in an industry made out of cool people that I only see for business stuff because we’re all busy adults.
One quick lunch later I decided to stock up on snacks on my way back.
I’ve been keenly aware lately of how I might have leftover habits from living in a one room apartment like only buying food as-needed, so I’ve been making an effort to deprogram myself from that sort of thing, and being able to have things like chips and cookies in the pantry (and then making a conceited effort to remember I have a pantry with food) is one of those steps.
Some new prints arrived and while thinking where to put them I realized it’d be neat to rotate them in and out depending on the season. Not just because I quite like the feeling of my walls looking different every so often, but I’ve seen what happens to prints that get blasted with the light almost nonstop for like 5 years and I thought it’d be nice to rotate them so they don’t bleach so fast.
The first one I updated was this one.
Even outside of any seasonal change it’s just an overall improvement when it comes to my tastes.
Then came this one.
I might change the top one for another halloween-y one but regardless I should start thinking about Halloween shoots with The Girls to update the pics to the right.
And lastly (for now) the Jouji Sorimura row has been changed to the Oekakizuki row.
Kinda frustrated at how low energy I’ve been on the whole lately. Like, I know WHY that is, but doesn’t mean I’m any happier about it.
