Today’s deck is the Lumicela Tarot.

The lack of an umlaut is more because if I search the blog to check if I’ve used this one in the past it’s gonna be that little bit less of a headache.
The theme is sewing, and alas I’m not familiar enough with that to tell you how accurate or nor the whole theming is.
Today’s reading is a handy reminder that basically making things is as much of a responsability I have as Everything Else I’m forced to do for work on a daily basis.
It sure can feel sometimes like doing the creative stuff people pay to see is just a luxury.

Ended up waking up at like 3AM and since things were quiet and I had nothing else to do I figured I could make a batch of pasta sauce and so went out first to get food so I don’t cook with an empty stomach and then to get the ingredients.
Long story short, the sauce became more of a stew. A good stew (thought I might spice the flavor up with a bit of bacon later) but a stew nonetheless. I’m guessing that’s a combination of too much broth from softening the meat, too little tomato paste, and the potatoes disintegrating and becoming thickener.
Lessons learned all around.
By now V (the friend staying over) woke up and wanted to have some coffee. I bought an automatic kettle in preparation for that need and then spent 10 minutes being skillgated by a fucking device.

So long story short you gotta press the lock button and THEN press the pour button. It makes sense to avoid accidental handing of rollin’ boilin’ water, but in my defense the button is called LOCK instead of UNLOCK come on.
There’s very little else of note. I sent emails, sorted more of the house, ran some errands…
We did go to Sushiro for dinner and had the alternative title for this post…

Even now I keep misreading the bottom item as “Cursed Mackerel”.
