Today’s deck is the Wizards Tarot.

It’s… fine. It’s well illustrated and flashy but not the highest in terms of useability. That’s like… a subcategory of decks, now that I think about it.
Today’s reading is advising that, after all the “you’ll be able to embark on your ambitions” readings of late, I should keep in mind the more charitable options in mind.
There’s a bit of nuance since it’s the King of Pentacles, but let’s settle on “charitable”.

Halloween sure is Fucking Rainy this year.
I had to wake up basically straight into Japanese lesson and it was puddle land out there. Not only that, but Every Single Car seemed DETERMINED to splash water onto someone on the way.
I returned straight home afterwards and relaxed for a little bit. Or tried to, at least, given that I have so many things boiling on the background but none ready but also I DO have them boiling so I’m on guard.
Not literally boiling things by the way, I mean metaphorically.

After a while, V and I figured we should go out and do stuff. She wanted to return to the Okama Bar we went to the other day so we took a cab from my house to the Station.
…then no cars would pick my trip after 10+ minutes, so in a half-test half-solutionI posted a trip to Namba station instead.
It was immediately picked up.
…then it took 10+ minutes to arrive.
The streets were VERY congested and also he couldn’t leave us BY the station due to the amount of people so we walked for a bit.

We stopped by Maguro Center Namba. As the name suggests, it’s a sashimi restaurant with specialty in Tuna.
We had a kinda light meal and then V was like “can we stop by Evil first?” and that we did.
When we arrived the bar was empty and the bartender had a Jiangshi costume on. She had just returned from Korea so she was offering korean snacks which was fun.
Then, right as things were winding down a little bit, people started actually coming in. First an acquintance of the bartender, then another, then three other foreigners (Irish if the exhaustion/alcohol memory serves me right).
Well now we gotta stay…
V pointed at the Jill figure I gifted the bartender and asked them if any of them recognized it and one of them actually did!
Then the last seat of the bar was filled by a Hungarian passing by.
Karaoke was sung and the night actually closed with Dragostea Din Tei.

The bar closed at around 1:30 and we moved onto Believe x Believe. The vibe was different from last time but only because last time we were capital S Sloshed and now we were kinda tipsy but we’ve been out and about since like 8PM and drinking since like 10.
The fun continued, the cultural exchange of raunchy terminology also. V and I also learned how to play a card game whose name escapes me this instant.
The funniest bit was the fact that I go there shaved and with the usual amount of makeup thinking “we’re gonna be out, let’s look nice” and the first thing I hear are lamentations that I shaved.
I was then asked if I had any pics of myself with a beard and wouldn’t you know it, I only take selfies when I’m shaven.

I’ve thought about it like twice now, but it’s really interesting to me how safe I’ve felt in a place where one of the bartenders showed us a photo of someone’s bare ass while we tried to explain what jelqing was. Safer than in plenty of other shops and such.
There’s a statement in there somewhere about how the world be sometimes.
