Today’s deck is the Mindscapes Tarot.

A while back I used a deck that tried to make cards with photos of landscapes and it kinda ran short of expectations. This is the ideal form of that idea, I feel. Especially since painted landscapes let you play with the concept more.
Honestly the other one just needed to be more creative with collages, really.
Today’s reading tells of will power balancing things towards prosperity.
I sure fucking hope so.

Bank update? Uh… I got a notice that Sony Bank wanted to deliver me something that requires signing the delivery so I hope my shit got approved.
Speaking of deliveries, they finally finished the maintenence on the delivery box of the building which is VERY convenient, now my parcels will survive being delivered by Amazon.
Oh wait, one of the credit cards from my old bank was cancelled. This is, for once, a GOOD thing because it means they’re actually following through with all the closure procedures and whatnot. I told them to cancel that card to leave everything in order while I waited to get the accounts here sorted, but never heard back so I had no clue if they actually did and I didn’t feel like calling around Friday.

By the way, any of you ever play Burrito Bison?
I played it so much back in the day, so a lot of my day today was basically gone playing a mobile version that I just discovered existed. It’s neat! I appreciate it lets you just pay once to have all ads removed and such. Honestly I like those kinds of games where it’s basically like “well if you pay the price of a full release you can enjoy it without any obstacles”.
A hilarious thing is that Google Play Pass lets you play some games with all microtransactions disabled… by which it means that you basically have infinite gems and such and I love testing games with that option because it’s HILARIOUS to see not just how much of the design breaks when you can do that, but also how much of the design is dependant on an ad being a punishment or a retry.
It’s like the opposite of quarter-muncher arcades, instead of being in awe at how many coins you would’ve lost in the real context you’re in awe at how much it tries to make you see those ads that don’t even play like what the game actually is like and don’t even make sense as a game to begin with.
Aside from that, I felt the vaguest of itches to try woodcarving again so I decided to sort all the knives and multitools and such I had in a big ass toolbox and move them to smaller toolboxes that are less of a pain to move.

Aside from that I cancelled my trip tomorrow. I don’t have the mental bandwidth to prep for that and I figured it’d be better to like… make sure the end of the year is completely cleared.
