Today’s deck is the Ukiyoe Tarot.
This is one of those I like enough to lament that the minor arcana doesn’t have individual illustrations… though it feels oddly fitting theme-wise somehow.
Today’s reading indicates that it’s time to rest from all the messy conflict, which, after yesterday… yeah.
E wanted to do the thing where you watch Eight Crazy Nights once per day until Christmas. I hadn’t watched that movie in YEARS and… it sure is a movie.
I will grant it one thing, though. Unironically, the sound designers for the movie were too good for the assignment. The audio design and cues were top-notch even outside of this specific movie.
The rest of it… eh…
It’s fun with friends though, but like Mandaloregaming said on one of his videos “rolling turds down the street is also fun with friends”.
I like having fun with my friends, though. It’s been a hectic year and I’ve not had enough time to spend with the homies.
Woke up kinda late so I wasn’t able to do all the bill payments at the bank that I needed and whatnot but I took my usual walk before the sun went down nonetheless.
I’ve been play DQ Walk as usual, but nothing too crazy as of late worth noting. Aside from the fact that I’m training Monster Wrangler to 70 so I can unlock an extra class.
I did stop playing Pokemon Go though. What happened was that one of the unlock research thingies was like “make 3 gret throws in a row”. Great throws are something I’ve never figured out, I don’t want to figure out, and seeing the “streak broken” at the bottom of the screen just trying to play normally annoyed me enough that I just… stopped.
At least DQ Walk doesn’t require that kind of motor skills and stuff.
I might get back to Pokemon Go down the line, though. There’s always the itch coming and going, but for now the annoyance made me stop.
Back home, I got into sorting things around but a funny thing is that one of the things I sat down to sort was… browser tabs.
Guess that was on my mind for a while. There was really nothing too crazy I forgot, just the odd Treat or Toy here and there, the rest was just images and DL site tabs that I had saved or used before anyways.
I had so many useless thingson those tabs though, and I mean useless in the coolest way. I don’t know what posessed me to look up geiger counter prices, but I just thought the idea of having a geiger counter would be neat.
And THAT’S why end up with an UV flashlight while wondering “wait, when and why did I get this?”. I still don’t know, I don’t even know if I had a specific intent in mind, but it sure is perfectly in character for me to do.
Speaking of homies, I’m gonna meet up with a friend tomorrow. It’s one of those “busy people meeting for like one hour over coffee” sorts of things, but still looking forward to it.
