Today’s deck is the Blossom of Serenity Tarot.

I can see how this one would be way better if my copy wasn’t a bootleg, but I’m not one for busy patterns, sadly.
Today’s reading is, fittingly, about wondering what to do with all the recovered freedom I have right now. Case in point I’ve been wondering where to go for new year’s.

Woke up straight to meet up with the friend I mentioned yesterday.
Long story short, he’s the realtor that I worked with to get my current place. Really cool guy, so cool we’ve kept in touch casually and he’s even helpe me with a bunch of things in the past.
Man, it’s dawning on me that I’ve known him for a little over 5 years now…
You see, I got my apartment while I was still in contact with that one ex-friend I’ve mentioned in the past. It was a really rough period of my life but in a way the me that came out the other side of the whole situation has felt like the proper real me to the point that things before 2020 feel like a blur.
Everyone talks about the before times and the after times and there’s a lot of that, but for me it felt like me starting to get some control of my life and such.
The whole point is that there’s the paradox of so much changing and yet things feeling like they happened just a little while ago. I’ve know my realtor friend for effectively over twice as long as the aforementioned ex-friend and yet the way I talk in private about said ex-friend would make you think it’s someone I knew for 10 years or something.
Reminiscing and realizations aside, it was a fun talk. I got to ask him what the fuck was going on with all the new buildings being made all over the place.
It was the sort of meeting where we both had fun but the meeting runs short ’cause busy adults and stuff.

Afterwards I decided to walk in the general direction of…
Of…
…is that fucking Lowry?

Anyway, I walked in the direction of Nipponbashi and I hit the usual doll clothing shops. There wasn’t any new Christmas clothes I didn’t have, but I got some nice things and shoes.
The Volks shop is gonna have their last doll event of the year this Sunday and I REALLY wanna go, I’ve missed so many of them this year dang it.

There really wasn’t much else aside from doing groceries and taking the scenic route back afterwards.
