Today’s deck is the Cattitude Tarot.

How many decks with cats are enough? One day we’ll find out, today’s not that day.
Today’s reading reflects a sense of feeling stuck because too many responsabilities are slowing me down.
Now, this could be to make me realize how, shockingly, I haven’t felt that way in a while despite still being in the usual Responsabilities Hell, but it might also be reflecting how this week got shockingly packed with appointments out of nowhere.

It’s Sunday, and even though I should be exercising the work and life divide I wanna enforce, I really didn’t have much else going on today specifically so I figured I could go to the office again to finish the one shelf I keep meaning to build and something else needs to be built or fixed instead.
And oh hey look at that, the humidifier I ordered also arrived so I gave it priority since it helps with the cold weather.
I install it, turn it on, and then it just keeps cycling and beeping and whatnot.
I cycle the power, empty the tank and I guess in the end the issue was that water got somewhere it shouldn’t, I think? So I set it aside and prayed that leaving it undisturbed for a day would fix it.

Regardless, I finally built the shelf for the printer, and the paper and all of that. It’s less fancy than the one I have at home, but it’s gonna be used at most to print a shocking amount of black and white documents so it doesn’t need to be a multicolor multicart sort of printer to achieve that.
I also took the chance to install the phone. I hate landlines, it’s probably gonna be unplugged unless I’m explicitly expecting a call, but I’ll have it around.
Earlier in the day I decided on a whim to reserve stuff for my next trip, so I figured that since going to Hokkaido has become a bit of an early year tradition, I should try and get the ferry trip I’ve wanted for a while.
First interesting thing is that it’s not an all ports to all ports sort of deal, Maizuru in Kyoto goes to Otaru only and such.
The trip is going to be over 20 hours and leaves at night so it’ll be interesting to be in a situation where I go to sleep one day, spend the day on the ship, and then arrive to the destination.
It might be fun, it might be something I’ll refuse top do again, it can’t be more annoying that getting on a plane at least.
I should try and make an Okinawa trip this year via Ferry also, for fun.
When I got back home there was one more payment that cropped up. This is normal since I was out of funds for so long that a LOT of things just accumulated like crazy, my problem is that they keep popping up at like 1AM and such when I’m not really with my brain at 100% so I’m always worried something will go wrong because I overlooked something silly.

Other than that, they’re gonna come pick up a bunch of boxes tomorrow so that should free up a healthy amount of space, I hope.
