Today’s deck is the Instarot.

You know, it’s the smallest of issues in the grand scheme of things, but I hate how social media platforms are owned by some of the most uncomically evil people in the world because then appreciating the site identity and graphic design each one develops becomes the worst kind of corporate bootlicking.
Then again, considering how often said sites adjust said identity willy nilly, not like you can enjoy that even disregarding that part.
All of which is to say that I’m so charmed by this one’s sincere love of Hell Platform Number Four.

It has to be on purpose at this point I swear to God.
Today’s reading advises that as new opportunities come up, I should keep in mind making the most reasonable choices when it comes to money (read: being mindful with Treats) which… fair enough.
Funnily enough, I logged into my bank to check how the process was going and even though it’s still ongoing, I did see a notice that they’re gonna stop working with the card company that fucked me over last year.
It’s the thinnest of silver linings in the current circumstances, but I’ll take it. For the catharsis if nothing else.

I woke up by biting my tongue.
No it wasn’t on purpose, I was just half asleep and I guess I had a muscle in my jaw twitch and I bit my tongue, waking me up. So I was like “fuck it, I’m awake I guess”.
I woke up super late on the whole and I went to the pharmacy and they told me they ran out of my pills but they’ll call other places to see if they have any.
I continued my roaming around while playing DQ Walk. while I’d say I know the area fairly well it was still fun to come across small streets that I either hadn’t seen or hadn’t seen from a specific perspective.

I made my way back to the office after buying label paper. You see, there’s usually minor correspondence I gotta send like receipts, documents, and whatnot but since I gotta write it down in kanji, that minor mental barrier stops me from doing anything. So I printed a sheet with the addresses of employees, my accountant and whatnot on them so that I just have to slap that onto an envelope and call it a day.
There was also a minor payment logistics issue I was trying to solve. Long story short my current bank needs you to register people in advance and one of the applications got rejected for some reason, so I tried via Wise.
Now, the hilarious thing is that this was towards one of our Venezuelan staff, and the moment I finish the directions and input the money the page crashes. It’s hilarious because not only do we Venezuelans already have a bit of a complex that we have negative luck with anything that’s paperwork, it’s one of those things that gets reinforced by experience like how I’ve been struggling to pay this specific employee for like half a month, so to see the error was like “oh come on…”.
It was a general error for the page and not an error with them specifically, but I don’t know if that’s better or worse.

Aside from that, I got a package with waterproofing spray which is a good reminder to get the prep for next trip going early.
