These churros FUCK

Today’s deck is the Grim Tales Tarot.

While the aesthetic is a bit predictable with the theme, it’s not in a bad way. Really dig the porcelain-esque style, I have a friend that loves this sort of illustration.

Today’s reading surprisingly touched on something that’s too personal so I’ll keep the interpretation to myself today.

Yet another day of dragging myself out of bed, this time for Japanese lesson puposes. Though I didn’t get out of bed and I was already calling the pharmacy to check if they had my pills.

They didn’t, this is gonna be an issue.

I was dressing up and they came to check the smoke detectors of the apartment. All in check there.

After Japanese lesson I went to check another pharmacy and they also didn’t have my meds. This is gonna be an issue.

I did decide to check if there were any news as to why the hell there was a shortage and apparently it’s because more and more people went to get a diagnosis which resulted in demand exceeding supply. Which makes sense because Japan has a hard ban on amphetamines meaning that the only ADHD med available is Concerta and thus demand is overcentralized.

On the one hand the articles do say it should be solved by “early 2026 but that’s anytime from now to April and I’ve only got 15 pills left”. On the other the idea that the country was literally not equipped for a sudden surge of mental health awareness is hilarious.

Half to ration out the pills I have left while the situation is solved and half to see how I fare without them nowadays I skipped today’s dose on purpose (as opposed to doing it by accident) and to be fair it was probably not a good sample day because as soon as I got back home the sleep debt kicked my ass and without meds or coffee regulating my sleep spent the rest of the early morning in that uncomfortable limbo of understimulated so I feel sleepy but not tired enough to sleep proper.

And then I only went to actually sleep at like 7AM so who knows what my sleep schedule will be afterwards.

Aside from an issue, that is.
