Today’s deck is the Tarot of the Vampires.
I’m not a vampire person (more of a ghosts person, really) but I really like how this deck has more of a modern urban thing going on than a medieval or victorian one.
Today’s reading advises that the solution to feeling out of the loop is to get to work. The reading is fun though, because I actually spent a couple of minutes thinking how the reading would vary with any other of the Knight cards.
I really need to set aside time to do Back To Basics refreshers sometimes, I feel.

Not only did I wake up super late in the “Waking up in Saturday But gonna roll over on Sunday after sleeping in during Friday” sort of way, but when I go and fill my Tarot journal it’s one day further behind date-wise so who the fuck knows anymore.
Anyway, I could’ve and probably should’ve woken up earlier to keep scouring for my meds, but I remembered that the… under the counter section (AKA the not on the shelves section) of the pharmacies sometimes close on Saturday, let alone 5PM. I’d have better luck pushing my sleep schedule and rescheduling an appointment for a new prescription.
So with this in mind, I just spent my day/night/whatever sorting things in the house. My current goal is to move the containers in my living room back to the room V was staying in so I can build another bookshelf and get rid of more containers in the process.
I went through a shocking amount and I set aside CDs as I went along because I wanted to import them onto my PC.
One funny detail that happened while at it was that one of the Cinderella Gray singles got confused by the itunes ID thingy with a single CD from SKE48 (The Nagoya branch of AKB48 basically). Interestingly (to me), for a cast so full of ex-idols and vocalists and such, there’s no SKE48 alumni in the cast, closest connection I could find was that an ex-SKE48 was MC for some interviews with the Uma Musume cast in 2023.
I took a proverbial detour and unboxed a bunch of things, including a new humidifier. My current humidifier still works just fine, it even doubles as air purifier which is neat, but I gotta refill it so often and I swear to God it always beeps to be refilled after I’m in bed. So I went for something with a larger tank, like, 8L sort of larger.
What I didn’t expect was for the room to suddenly be way quieter. It was in that sort of white noise that devices make where you only notice the absence, but still.
In the end the annoyance of time becoming more abstract was counterbalanced by making progress in sorting the house so I’m happy with that.
