I keep finding myself singing Snow Halation when I go to slow places…
Today’s reading talks of a quick shift of how I perceive existing bonds, a positive one, a sort of “it all clicks into place fast” kind.
I can think of a couple of things that’s related to, yeah.

Been waking up more and more tired but in a good way, it’s been a hot minute since the last time I’ve been able to burn so much energy.

First thing I did was take the girls out again for a couple of photos.

It’s fine, it’s just sisterly bonding.
There was a kinda funny moment where Sol’s torso popped off because she actually had TWO corsets on that shifted upwards pushing the torso piece out.
I immediately returned to the room because one bit of logistics of snow photos I’ve learned the hard way is that (try to act shocked) snow melts into water and the fashionable snow sprinkling is gonna get them damp.

I did but crab sushi on my way back though.
There was another shoot I had in mind because under the fancy dresses they had fancy lingerie.

Sol was a no brainer against the white snow.

Luna with her pink lingerie fit better with the warm colors of the bed.

And here’s a fun one. Notice how Luna looks more natural when she’s not planking.
One key component of making poses look more natural is to think about gravity, about how a normal person’s body would rest against surfaces and such. In its most basic level I make sure there’s no hovering hands (or if unavoidable, make sure the angle doesn’t make it look like so)
Hair is also an understated tool to balance compositions out.
After this I dressed them for the Sapporo shots I had in mind the other day but since I wanted to wait until it got darker for that, I spent time sorting stuff for the luggage.

I went in the general direction of Sapporo Tower and they had the clocktower park thingy open so I took a few pictures there.
It then occurred to me that the Volks shop had a photo spot that’s cute looking like a coffee shop with fancy pastries, so I went there and coincidentally the staff was taking pics of a Snow Miku. I do wonder if it’s related to the general “snow Miku festival” thing going on by the mall of where I’m staying.
Sadly the photo spot only had one chair and I’ve got two girls, but I bought a couple of wigs that are exactly like the ones Luna and Sol currently have.

I’ve noticed a couple of hair ends and whatnot are a little bit frayed after all the use (and the exposure to elements from salty winds to snow) so I figured hey why not buy new ones and I can use the old ones to practice styling.
I started heading back and man finding a good spot where both Sol and the Sapporo Tower will show its tricky because the best spots are either blocked off by snow or used by attractions.

Ultimately I ended up using this one cool statue I distinctly remember from last time I came that looked super cool.
I made my way back to the station and you know what? Fuck it, more Yoitomake, my dear beloved.

The train back was a local train which on one hand meant a slow return but also I had most of the car to myself for most of the trip. I did return after the mall closed though, meaning I had to take the trek in snow instead of inside heating.
Back in my room I was stuffing all my luggage while keeping out things like the clothes I’ll wear tomorrow. I did consider basically like “if the luggage gets lost what would be the most painful things to lose. So I kept the SSDs with photos (which I brought in case I felt like doing photo editing but I ended up too entertained out and about) and the girls’ heads.

The bodies and the clothes can be replaced, but i don’t what I’d do if something happened to their faces. It got me slightly emotional to think about, actually.
Considering how much I bought in terms of souvenirs (mainly Yoitomake my dear beloved) I didn’t overpack as much as in other times. I mostly overdid it with extra clothing layers just in case.

For now, I’m destroyed and must sleep.
