Today’s reading reflects a general vibe of hesitation with new bonds, which, if you read yesterday’s post, is something still in my mind.
I woke up way too late, and with the way my sleep schedule has been I didn’t even notice it was Monday already.
I didn’t have any appointments today, thankfully, but believe it or not Monday coming so fast was a nice surprise for a change. Reason being that I tend to spend my week bothering my bank about all the pending stuff so the weekend flying by without me thinking about it was a welcome change of pace.
Because of the time I woke up in, I did have to rush out and buy some groceries and whatnot before things closed, but nothing too serious.
I returned to finish the eggplant pickling I started and oh my God the tofu press is a game changer. I just left it pressing, I returned every couple of minutes to drain it and repeat.
This next batch is gonna be so good…
I haven’t Stopped in general in a while and it was kinda hitting me, like, first day back from the trip was Monday and I was waiting for my luggage to arrive, then comes Tuesday and I’m still unpacking, come Wendesday I decide to go for drinks and pay the consequences (plus singing lesson) on Thursday, come Friday I have Japanese lesson, come Saturday I’m out drinking again, and cut to Sunday I’m AGAIN dealing with the consequences of the booze and also some emotional aftershocks.
I’m lowkey ruminating about it today while taking it easy and man… it’s been A Lot.
Good version of A Lot for a change, but A Lot still.
E has wanted to play Warframe and I’ve been a shooty game itch lately so I was checking what space I can free up in hard drives and man, there’s so many thing I don’t even feel in a particular mood to play, like I had Baldur’s Gate 3 installed and not only I haven’t touched it since early access, but I don’t even feel compelled to go through it anyways.
I did, however, get completely sidetracked by Dragon’s Dogma 2. I even installed some nude mods for the heck of it.
And as the day comes to a close I check my bank page just for the heck of it and Oh My God the money is finally going out.
This nonsense has an end point holy shit.
