Today’s deck is the Stitch Tarot Cards.

The irony of Stitch’s gentrification will never not be sadly hilarious to me. Aside from that, it’s a Luna Factory one so it’s top of the line.
Today’s reading comments that self-forgiveness is the key whenever you’re feeling like you don’t belong into something.
Honestly? Not a bad thing to remember.

Today was mostly just a day of catching up with chores. I’ve got a pile of dishes that’s been taunting me for forever now.
I did also write a lot today, finishing the rest of the Still in Love posts and posting the next one.
Main thing was finishing some new pickled veggies and here’s a bit of tech I learned with the last batch: pouring boiling water does let the veggies cook some, in the case of stuff like cauliflower and broccoli it even makes them slightly more tender than raw but still crunchy.
HOWEVER, do not apply this with daikon.
The problem isn’t exactly the flavor, the flavor is fine. The problem is the smell. I swear to God my fridge kept smelling like I left some raw meat for one day too many.
It’s extra wild because it was the smell through whatever vents connect the fridge compartments. But when trying it out the pungent smell wasn’t there.
One of them was kinda oversalted, though.
The problem is also that I did an experiment with julienne-cut leek, which tasted nice but I don’t know if maybe that was the smelly one.
Anyway, I shifted the carrot type to the one I normally eat and did a couple of batches with no boiling water. I also cut them thinner, the shape does impact the flavor believe it or not.

Very laid back sunday on the whole.
