Today’s deck is the Fantastical Creatures Tarot.
It’s getting to the point where the name of the decks blur together and I’m SHOKED I can remember so many of them to know I didn’t use one of them.
Today’s reading comes after the blonde I mentioned last post was implemented and it’s remindeing me to not give into The Temptation too much. Things are fine but don’t get carried away.
So Venezuela won the big sportsball game.
I’m not a sports person, I have the trauma of growing up a wimpy kid in a macho-centric society, but in terms of respect for sports I definitely respect baseball more than soccer to the point I don’t mind calling it soccer despite being southamerican.
Part of it is that Venezuela SUUUUUUCKS at soccer, we’re basically the one country that never made it to the world cup while baseball players are always there in GOAT rankings.
Part of it is also that in my experience soccer always attracted the braggarts that only wanted to do sick ball tricks instead of playing the damn game.
I also have this pet theory that soccer only started becoming more of a thing after the European diaspora had a say on the matter. I actually wonder if me being more exposed to soccer was because I was more exposed to said diaspora in general.
Grievances aside, Venezuela won the big baseball game and man, it was out of an anime.
So for starters Venezuela beat Japan and in the aftermath THE JAPANESE STARTED CHEERING FOR VENEZUELA IN THE MOST “YOU DEFEATED ME I’M NOW YOUR FRIEND” WAY and THEN the finals are against the US and we win something insane like 3-2.
All of this, may I remind you, after the oompa loompa did an international incident.
It’s one of those moments where people are like “I needed this, we needed this”. I’m not a sports person and I FELT it.
