Today’s deck is The Unicorn Tarot.
So in recent memory I’ve used a deck with Unicorn in the name but no Unicorns, and another one with too much Unicorn. This one is a nice in-between of both.
Today’s reading is a welcome reminder from me to me that I tend to like doing things at my own pace. Specifically in the context that if I ever feel overwhelmed I should remember that.
E arrives today, so I went out to KIX to receive her.
TECHNICALLY I was on schedule but because I’m unmedicated, that lagged me juuuust enough that I reached Shin Osaka station after the last airport super duper hello kitty express left.
No loss, I’ll just go to Namba and take the Nankai… except there WAS a loss… of time. E arrived at around 10:30 and I arrived past 11:30.
The homie has joined the party.
We took a cab back, it was pricey but I wasn’t in the mood to wait for the next bus.
My place is still a mess of clutter and obstacles, but E has seen the apartment in worst conditions.
Since I woke up at like… 8PM, my day was just starting so we just hung out while I made sure her room, if nothing else, was cleared up.
We discussed plans, particularly those for this week. Speaking of plans I had to take some video calls today so I went to my office in the morning and turns out the power was cut.
Then I check the mailbox and indeed there were a couple of overdue bills.
Annoying particularly since now I had to rush back home for said calls but also because I had to make a friggin’ phone call for the power to return.
The phone calls were done, progress was made, and I was feeling sleepy so I decided… fuck it, I’ll see if the power returns tomorrow on its own, if not I’ll make the dang call.
