Today’s reading is a celebration: A goal was accomplished and a new standard should be set as a result.
The thing I’ve been keeping quiet about should be out by the time I draft this so I can finally talk about it.
I made a game! I finished a game even. A short one but considering all my wounds internal or otherwise related to game development it’s one hell of an accomplishment.
Also yes, all the card readings I kept being vague about were related to this. A lot of undercurrents of “Don’t be afraid” “The wounds aren’t there anymore” “You’ve moved past that part” and so on.
So today I just retired into my office for like 6-7 hours and hammered down the final touches.
When I was done I left the drafts done and returned home. I had time to kill until midnight so I cooked food… and then I remembered the Makibao post I wanted to make for the Uma Musume blog so I killed time gathering photos from it and refreshing a couple of facts.
Then I posted the game.
I expect a long time for it to seep through, I’m just… shocked it was so easy considering how scared and defensive I’ve been in the past about releasing things.
The excitement overrode the fears, that’s a good sign.
