Big Zero Americana

Today’s deck is the Rustic Fortune Tarot.

Immediately thrown into rotation, it’s SO GOOD.

Today’s reading feels like a reflection of that annoying thing that happens to me where I’m mildly content and my brain starts being wary of either “what will ruin this” or “where’s the catch tho”.

No big plans today, it is Work Day!

….aaaaaaaand as it often happens, I spent most of the day instead seeing what the new PC is missing that I need to solve.

That IS progress, though.

Aside from installing Godot, I took the chance to get Da Vinci Resolve in the new machine also.

I also installed the new Affinity software. I had the previous suite purchased and for a moment I thought that the new software was one of those copycats that try to ride on similar names. I had that happen with Da Vinci Resolve when I first got it for example.

But no, Canva just remade the software fusing all three suites into something more lightweight and free…

I’m not used to tech being so friendly, honestly. Hell, I bough a Da Vinci Resolve license despite not needing any of the premium features realistically because it offered so much that I couldn’t in good conscience not throw some money their way.

Anyway, with Affinity downloaded, I FINALLY started the draft for the new photobook. It’s mostly sorting what each page is gonna be so I can plan accordingly. I actually wanna make it more magazine-like, with more text and such.

Right before leaving, I decided to do another run into trying to see what the heck was the issue with the ethernet port since I could at least isolate that it was on the PC’s side.

So uh… I just had to cycle the power. In layman’s terms: Diconnect it so the power flushes out and then turn it back on.

Immediately fixed, fucking hell.
