Today’s deck is the Rainbow Moon Tarot.

Not bad! Just not my thing. I will say however (and this will sound like the most backhanded praise ever) that I didn’t expect it to have as much of a theme as it does. What I mean is that the cover prepped me for my self-admittedly extremely petty “mall feminist” descriptor, but this one was like all intergalactic and stuff.
Today’s is one of those that reassures me that the worst has passed and I should take my proverbial victory lap.

New place to go to today!
Plan is to go to Hirakata Park, it’s an amusement park I’ve seen the ads for a few times. They’re recognizable because they have little elf mascots.
AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, it has a rose garden.

The path was easy enough: Go to Yodoyabashi and change to the Keihan line. It was like one hour total at most.

The area was chill and I was so delighted when I saw it was a super old type of amusement park. They also have some kind of Ultraman event going on I might go to. The entrance alone had Ultraman and Tiga.
Apparently it’s been around since friggin’ 1912.

It didn’t take long to find the rose garden. I saw a small area with a bunch of kids running around and thought it was neat…

…then it dawned on me that it was a fraction of the area.
I had the biggest dumb grin across my face.

The most shocking part was the smell, not just the fact that it was good, but just the general realization of “oh shit, there’s enough flowers that the smell is this easy to sense…”

There were so many types of flowers around. I had Midori with me so I was looking for the usual combo of good vantage point and good colors. There was actually a set of flowers of the exact color of her dress but they weren’t in an easy spot to photograph.

Ultimately I chose this spot and while the irony of going with the intent of seeing the roses and commemorating it with a pic without roses doesn’t escape me, the contrast is just lovely.

I didn’t have much else in mind to do, especially with all the weight I carried so I decided to return…
…but not before buying a year pass on a whim.
The place really charmed me, and regardless of if I return enough times to make the value of the pass, it felt like a place I’d like to support y’know.

Since Midori was all dressed up anyways I figured I could go to Element L and chill for a bit. So I return, rest for a moment, go back out, go there, aaaaaaaaaaaand forgot they’re closed Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Ah well, still a fun day. I even finished another Uma Musume post!
