Today’s deck is the Dreams Within Dreams Tarot.
Shockingly, not an Inception one. I think the eck is meant to be a collection of different illustrators? This deck is very much a bootleg, but the thing is that a lot of the time these decks are limited runs so I couldn’t find an original with the booklet and stuff even if I wanted to.
I’ve managed to eventually buy originals of a bunch of the decks that are clearly bootlegs, but still. that’s my story with piracy through my life, I guess…
There’s an undercurrent lately of “there’s no reason for you to hesitate, dumbass” and today’s reading is no exception.
My plan for today was to go to the gym since the weather was nice for a change. However I woke up with a nasty pain on my shoulder from bad sleeping position, so that plan will have to wait.
Minor paperwork continues! I still can’t talk about it! Well, there’s one I CAN talk about, though.
One of the many things I need to catch up paperwork-wise in this country is the Shakai Hoken. The company is enrolled, the staff is enrolled, but apparently I’m not.
Shakai Hoken is the name for the Social Insurance, the combined pension and health insurance and all of that. I’ve been paying for it in the company for years so it would be normal to assume that I would be enrolled by default, right?
Apprently not.
Then again, I didn’t get my health insurance card immediately either. My visa started in 2019 and I didn’t really bother thinking about it until I needed it to get my ADHD meds for the first time in 2020. And then when I did I had to pay for the whole thing retroactively, meaning that just because I didn’t pick up the card immediately doesn’t mean I don’t have to pay the pending months like I did.
Which means I might have to pay like eight years of Shakai Hoken… but I’ll burn that bridge when I get there.
Majuular’s channel has been a godsend through all the paperwork and walking around. I’ve been binging his series on Ultima and it sounded like the perfect thing for me when I was in a small Ultima binge like 5 years ago… too bad it started TWO years ago instead.
Easy recommend regardless.
