My back story if you will

Today’s deck is the Norisan Tarot.

As you can tell by the box it’s not quite its name, but the copyright does say Norisan, so…

Today’s reading has a general mood of being… not really stuck, but slowed down by thinking too hard too often. It’s definitely the trend lately.

I bought a new backpack.

It might not sound exciting to you but it is to me, in fact, let me tell you my backpack history in Japan.

My first daily use backpack I ever got in the country (I came without one and Venezuela isn’t really conducive to the practice) was a blue one I got on a whim in Namba when I moved in here, I mainly got it because I was still moving around a lot and it’d help me move things along.

It served shockingly well for its price, to the point that aside from being sun and washing-bleached it works perfectly fine.

I changed it because during my first trip to Okinawa I got excited buying souvenirs and didn’t realize I didn’t have luggage space (and I brought a really small case with me) so I bought the biggest backpack I found. I eventually switched to it being my main backpack and aside from the mesh in some inner pockets breaking it was fine.

I changed it early this year to a different one just because I felt like having a bigger backpack… that might’ve been the issue though, because the bands started to rip.

To be fair, I’ve kinda abused its size to load it in ways that are bad for it and my back.

So today on a whim I bought one that’s slightly smaller but can still pack my camera.

This one’s wine red, even.
