Crash 31

Today’s deck is the Stoller Tarot.

Adam Stoller is an artist and the art does look vaguely familiar, but can’t say I can pinpoint why.

Though for obvious reasons it was done later, today’s reading basically reflects how the day went, as you’ll soon see (spoilers: it speaks of recovering safe in the knowledge that one can afford to rest).

Holy fuck I woke up so destroyed, it’s been a while since the last time I woke up so… undone.

It wasn’t a hangover either, in fact, I’m surprised that for all the drinking that I’ve done the last two weeks, hangover has been a non issue.

Basically I woke up with everything hurting, completely exhausted, famished to the point I could’ve eaten a whole pig on my own… and still so tired I couldn’t get out of bed for the longest while.

No headaches, thankfully.

One perk about keeping this blog daily is that I can browse the frontpage and see almost two pages of 12 posts each about me being in tokyo, me going out, and so on and so forth.

This is usually the part where I joke about getting old, but if anything, I feel like I’ve grown more resillient with time, I’ve gotten more drained in the past from way less than everything I did lately.

Getting older does mean I can’t heal back up the way I used to, though.

One dose of ibuprofen and a lot of groaning later, I was not only out of bed but in less pain. I kinda wonder if maybe I had a slight fever, though I’m so sensitive to fevers that I would’ve noticed.

There was also an event at the Volks doll shop today but oh well.

I played a couple of DLsite games, but more notably (for me at least) I got into sorting things around the house once all the pains subsided. Mainly unpacking a bunch of figures I hadn’t had the time to unpack proper and taking out the trash.

Oh yeah small thing I forgot to mention yesterday was that I had the funny pleasure of introducing two Japanese women to Guilty Gear by explaining that westerners knew of Nagoriyuki (the song) mainly through Nagoriyuki (the character). That was fun.
