Today’s deck is the Bianco Nero Tarot.
The harsh ink drawing style is super cool.
If I had to explain today’s reading, it feels like a reflection of how I’ve been feeling internally. Finally in balance, feeling like changes are happening for the better for once, and me wondering if there’s a shoe that hasn’t dropped yet.
Had to sign a contract, realized I had to fill in the address, realized they wanted me to edit a PDF so I’ll just do that later.
I woke up at like 10PM and I went to get groceries before the market closed, particularly there’s these Kobe-ya cookies I really like and that you can’t find so easily elsewhere.
I, of course, forgot the cookies by the time I returned.
I did get to cook some chicken, though. I was spooked because it was chicken breast instead of thigh and if you look at a chicken breast the wrong way it becomes too dry, but it turned out okay.
The weather was SUPER rainy today and according to the forecast will be generally overcast for the next week or so. Which is kinda normal at around that time, I just hope it doesn’t end up like last year where there was a storm that blew a bunch of sakura petals early.
I have that one trip on Sunday and I wanted to either pick doll outfits for that OR sort through the school uniforms I have around.
Instead I ended up doing a lot of “sorting”, where the sorting entails me dropping the myriad loose stuff without a proper place and smaller things I’ll probably eventually dispose of anyways into stackable containers in a room that I don’t use that much.
It might not be the most elegant solution, but it’s giving me more space to work with if nothing else.
E is visiting next month and it would be cool if my place wasn’t a death trap by then. It’s already tricky enough to navigate for me, the one that knows and probably set up said traps.
I did back up a few more discs, especially after I found this Doki Doki Majo Shinpan 2 CD, which turned out to be a promotional thingy.
Unlike the Izuna, this is basically an HTML thing with a lot of imagemaps. Seems to be mainly a promotional demo sort of thing that makes me curious how it was distributed to begin with.
Putting what’s probably the promotional website all in a CD, the videos being in WMV and FLV… this is so 2008.
It also had a trailer for Kimi no Yuusha, and damn that’s a name I hadn’t heard in a hot minute.
Through willpower, hyperfocus, and… a whole bag of konpeitou I managed to stay awake until Japanese lesson time, so I go take a shower and it’s not until I’m getting out that I remember that I washed my towels so I had none near the shower.
Thank God me being a maniac about towels smelling I sticked up on some a while ago so they were on a bag the next room over.
And just like that, my schedule became slightly more normal.
It made me think that I kinda forgot my all-nighter-pulling methods because I’ve learned to not push myself to do that… but yeah, whenever I needed to stay awake chugging sugar to the point of diminishing returns was the way to go.
