Today’s deck is the Decameron Tarot.

It’s funny because it reminds me of how… I think it’s Way Of The Samurai 4? Had that one chick with big tits called Decameron but to make sure you got the joke they translated her name as Megamelon.
Today’s reading speaks of… basically “finally moving on”, in a sort of “you were tested and passed” sort of way.
I mean I can kinda see how…

Started the day taking a walk while having therapy, though there were some technical difficulties in the process.
By the time I finished walking I was by Umeda so I took a quick walk in Yodobashi Camera before returning.
I saw some people buying cameras and especially vlog cameras and felt like actually, for once, doing something with all the walking footage I’ve gotten since like last year.

When I got back I started transferring stuff while also looking for where I had dumped all the files last time. So I’m sifting through folders and you’ll never guess where I found them (hint: it’s today’s title).
I asked E for what a good video software was and she recommended DaVinci Resolve which is kinda nuts especially considering it’s FREE.
I did get confused because some other company made a software called DaVinci and when I saw monthly subscription options was when I realized I had been bamboozled.
The actual software itself is amazing though. The thing that gets me most is that other ones I’ve used like Vegas do the thing where, in trying to simplify things, they end up making things more complicated than needed.
I swear to God this simple stitching would’ve taken me like thrice as long on Vegas.
And yeah, stitching, the thing is that the camera saves things in 5 minute clips, basically.

I eventually head out to pay the office’s rent and I learned a couple of interesting details. For one apparently my landlady worked as a volunteer on the first expo in the 70s when she was in college, apparently the big technology being showcased was home video, and apparently the declining birth rates mean that they depend on foreign travelers to make the same amount of visitors that they accomplished in the past with just locals.

After returning I went with E to eat Chinese food at my usual ohsho and it’s always neat to tell others about how much the area has changed.
Dunno, makes it feel like I’ve not been living in a prolonged delusion I guess…
