Do not food the cats

Today’s deck is the Cosmo Tarot… which apparently stands for Cosmopolitan, like the publication.

It’s certainly interesting, though I’ve got no clue what aesthetic they’re going for, especially when the first thing I see is…

Today’s reading asks to celebrate being generous and charitable. Which I’ve been trying to do.

E wanted to go check a couple of shops so out we went to Namba.

First stop was a tobacco shop right by the station. She wanted to get a Kiseru and in the process we saw a lighter with SAND FROM FUCKING NORMANDY. It was some D-day celebration thing.

Nipponbashi has some ads for Momentary Lily promoting the street festa and my eyes keep magnetizing to the girl on the back like crazy.

On the way to the shop we saw this shop which is not only new but it was built shockingly fast. It used to be a PC hardware store and it’s now a Vtuber specialty store.

The main course today was Silicon House Kyohritsu… and lemme tell you that shop is dangerous.

E was already clearly swimming in her own element in the midst of displays, microchips, old processors and the like, but even my curious rat ass was feeling pulled from all directions.

In fact, I actually got a kit that lets you build a game of Tetris, and there’s a bunch of others to make things like sound boards and such.

It was kinda funny because it has three floors. On the top one is where all the innards of the machine go, then the second floor has things for the outside like cases and 3D Printing supplies, and then the first floor had more immediate things like tools and even some accesories.

Two highlights of the first floor include accesories made out of recycled firefighter hoses, and a book about Data East because of course it’s there, they know their audience.

On the way back we checked an airsoft shop that had relocated (the old building where they were got torn down) and I also saw another game being announced at Surugaya.

We took it easy and returned early, which proved to be a good call in the long run.

This is today’s bit of the backlog by the way. It’s actually one of my favorite spots in the area. It always reminds me of that bit in Pokemon BW where you cross the bridge and see the city in the distance.
