Today’s reading is reminding me that responsibilities entitle you to a treat, which was basically how today went.
Had to go to the bank. I drag my ass grumbling and kicking and then I realize I forgot my company seal.
I was not… pleased.
Thankfully buying bread and a couple of snacks kept me relatively sane. Shout outs to a piece of sweet garlic bread, it’s great but you gotta be aware that it’s sweet or you’re in for a surprise.
On the way back I remembered to take pics and do offerings at this small temple that’s around the area.
In case you can’t read kanji I must inform you the temple is called temple of the DRAGON KING.
After all of that nonsense I went back home and after sorting things and doing other work I went with E to check Gunpla Bar Iolite. The place is HUGE by Japanese bar standards. The menu also looks slightly small until you realize the owner can make you a drink based on your favorite mobile suit. These two were Banshee Norn and Exia-themed.
Afterwards we decided to have food before Evil opened and the place we picked was nice but I noticed too late that they had PICKLED TUNA.
Definitely getting that next time.
Things at Evil went great, I even gave Ucomaru-san a bottle of Santa Teresa rum and man I missed that flavor.
I’m not really nostalgic about that many things from Venezuela so certain things throwing me back like that WITHOUT trauma is always surprising.
