Very inspired by expressionism and very good deck overall, I can see someone not gelling with the specific artstyle though.
Today’s reading has portents of a breakthrough in a passion project, and I sure hope I can follow through with that before life throws another curve ball.
I declared today to be a Domingo de Flojera (Lazy Sunday) so after waking up at like 1PM I made a short Uma Musume article.
You might think I’m taking advantage of the boom right now, or that the uptick in visitors motivated me. the first one is not the case, the latter one DOES have some merit to it, but honestly it’s just that my schedule and brain finally cleared up at right about the same time.
My visa process starts on Friday, I’m gonna ride the high of clear mind while it lasts.
I’ve kept writing the smut thing I talked about yesterday, but I’m kinda unsure about it. It’s not a matter of quality or that I don’t think it’s interesting, I just feel like I’m thinking too much or too hard.
Obviously making something isn’t an entirely brainless thing on principle, rather, I feel like I’m flexing the wrong muscles, I’m using the Serious Writer side of the brain when the whole point is instead to train the self-indulgent side of the brain.
I’m still gonna keep working on that idea bit by bit, I just feel like I’m not setting out with the specific intent I had in mind and that’s gonna make me see the thing for what it isn’t rather than what it is.
And not gonna lie, this is fun unto itself for me. I love learning most of all and these very specific kinds of impasses are where breakthroughs happen.
By the way the fucking fire alarm went off while I was writing stuff.
It was just a test, the whole building had them running at the same time with no fire in sight but FUCK ME it spooked me to kingdom come.
