Today’s deck is the Archaeon Tarot.
I was gonna make an “out of fucking nowhere” joke, but apparently it’s a fusion of Archon and Aeon, so it’s probably more “Ar-kee-on” than Randy Orton’s move.
Today’s reading is advising that it’s a good time to retreat and meditate on my own, which isn’t a bad idea in the eve of the next trip.
While I was asleep Paypay sent me an envelope asking me to send them copies of my ID plu some service receipt to confirm my address.
Interestingly, they actually had a thing where they were like “send us either two items from chart A or an item from chart A and an item from chart B”, where chart B indicated paid receipts for things like taxes or services, and chart A was different kinds of IDs.
Chart A also had My Number Card as one of the options and I should get around to renewing mine. I got it once like in 2020 and never again, and they keep asking for it on a bunch of things lately. Apparently the ID verification goes faster with it so I might as well.
I finished Steamworld Dig 2 and I liked it! But it feels like they’re planning a trilogy by now, it’s a very specific feeling where it’s not like the story is incomplete, it’s not like plot points were left hanging too abruptly, more like the flow of the plot is going “and next comes the big finale”.
However, it’s also worth pointing out that there’s other games like Steamworld Heist and Steamworld Quest so maybe there’s a plot point coming from one of those that I’m not aware of.
I’d still recommend it though, I had fun and wouldn’t be against a second run or something.
A box arrived with a couple other things. New Seitokai no Ana volume, new Kanachoro volume, and even a different Seitokai no Ana volume that’s basically a compilation of specific chapters colorized, which was fun.
Kanachoro is a manga that I feel the wait for more keenly for some reason, but it’s a delight whenever it does arrive because I absolutely love Nonco’s art.
Also against my better judgment I got a new camera, a smaller body meant to be a side body. But I’ll talk about that later, the battery isn’t even charged.
