Today’s deck is the Beautiful Beasts Tarot.

This one’s interesting because despite the name, the “beast” part mostly entails beast fur patterns.
Today’s reading is basically commenting how there’s an out to emotional distress but it requires some patience with myself.

Today I had what I like to call a “Certified Fer Moment”.
What does such a Moment entail? A Fer Moment is when something you want to do, be it paperwork or even something for fun, is stopped by something very small and very preventable.
It’s not the sort of awful where your whole day is ruined but rather the sort of very petty thing that leaves you like “can you believe people call me smart?”.
Let’s take for example today. I think I’ve brought it up in the past but companies in Japan have a paper called “Certificate of all Historic Matters”, it’s what the name suggests and it’s a paper everyone asks for because it’s the surest way to confirm that your company is still active and not dormant or bankrupt or in legal trouble.

You get that certificate at one of the many legal bureaus in the country and the expectation that you’ll be taking that paper is common enough that you get a card you slide to request it.
Can you guess what the Fer Moment entails?
Yes, I woke up without showering or eating or anything straight out to get the paper because I woke up a little late and it’s not until I make it to the station that I realize I forgot the card.
MOREOVER, that was a card that up until recently I always kept in my wallet but one day I was doing yearly wallet cleanup, setting aside point cards and whatnot and went “eh, I don’t use this one, I’ll keep it in the office and take it when I need it”.

THAT’S a Fer Moment.
