Today’s deck is the Manara Tarot.

As the box says, it’s an Erotic deck, which is shockingly uncommon. I’ve only encountered a handful on purposefully horny decks in the year+ I’ve been doing this.
Today’s reading is a warning that hesitation is the most surefire way to basically be left out of things.

I woke up wanting to start the prep for the Christmas photoshoot, and it so happens that it’s one of those tasks where one task spills into another real quick.
Case in point, in going for the drawer with all the Christmas outfits I ended up expanding the drawers (adding tiers to them, basically) and sorting things in that room, including moving the playmat stacks here and there.

No these aren’t all of them.
Anyway, I ended up counting about eight new outfits that are as-of-yet unopened plus all the other ones spread through other bags.
I decided to use my living room since it’s the only part of the house where I can put the big table for the group shot AND still have enough space to maneuver with the camera some.

Sadly, it wasn’t enough space for the thing I use to prop the backdrops. Specifically, the tripod legs meant they weren’t hugging the wall, as it were.
I figured a visit to the hardware store would give me a solution so I headed out.
And indeed there was! They sold room dividers. The kind where it’s a tension rack with metal nets on them. I already had some lights so I figured instead of just the backdrop cloth I could put the lights on the net.
I already wanted one of those dividers anyways, so it also gave me an excuse to get them.
…after going back for my carry cart, that is.
I could handle handle one on the 10-15 minute walk back home. I would be a very silly choice I would start to regret but I COULD.

Two though? I also could but it would be an even dumber choice I would come to regret even faster so let’s use the rare moment of foresight on my art and get the damn cart.
I also got a coffee filter stand while at it. I’ve been making and drinking a lot of coldbrew coffee lately and while the strainer I had did a good enough job and letting stuff sit at the botton did the rest, I’m not the biggest fan of feeling solids in the stuff I drink, so…
Also the cart wasn’t a 100% foolproof solution because things kept getting toppled the moment I had to change sidewalks. But it WAS less of a hassle nonetheless.

Assembling them was also shockingly smooth of a task, though admittedly I’ve built like three tension bookshelves by now so that experience might be at play. Regardless it feels like they’d be easy to move once I’m done.

Then came the lights and I was so happy to see the format christmas lights come in nowadays where you can string them together. Only annoyace being that size difference between brands means there’s one length of lights without the screw cap on it, but eh. Not like I’m gonna be moving them around too much anyways.
I’d say today was a good day on the whole. Not feeling the need to talk about paperwork for the first time in God Knows How Long is a sign that some healing is happening.
