Today’s deck is The Transparent Tarot.

Most definitely one of, if not THE most interesting deck I’ve used, specifically interesting AND functional. I was skeptic of just how it would keep the cards a mystery, turns out the images overlap so much that you really can’t tell which is which. Hell, I didn’t realize until I checked the photo later that I basically drew from a flipped deck if the number on The Sun is anything to go by.
Today’s reading feels like it’s aligned with the stuff I mentioned about being uneasy because things were too calm. Kinda like it’s reminding me that it’s good and what I wanted but acknowledging that it’s not FULLY comfortable.

First thing I did was post that one tangent that went out of hand in the Uma Musume blog.
With the sun out and such I had any number of things I could do, though I immediately discarded going out as an option because Obon AND Sunday. Ultimately I opted to clean my balcony… or is it a veranda?
I THINK the difference is that a balcony isn’t in the ground floor, maybe? People here call it veranda, but I’ve always called it nalcony, I wonder if it’s like that thing where a condo and an apartment are the same thing but you own one and rent the other.
ANYWAY, I spent the afternoon sorting things in the verancony and I wanted to was the floor a little bit. I… never use my balcanda to be honest, and in fact one of the first things I always think when I remember its existence and something other than the spot to hang my clothing is “damn, I have a nice verconda. I should use it more often”.
That last point is relevant because when I grabbed the hose and the nozzle I had on the sink not only was the faucet STIFF but one of the ends of the hose leaked a lot.
An unused thing left to the elements malfunctioning? No way!
That prompted me to quickly go to the home center for a new hose and while I was there I remembered OH RIGHT I BOUGHT A PRESSURE WASHER AGES AGO, DIDN’T I?
The pressure washer was addicting to use, dangerously so even. I didn’t fully clean the balcony, I still have a lot of junk to separate and throw out but I nonetheless cleaned a LOT.

Work in progress, you can clearly see the marks of the washer.
One dream I’ve had for the longest time is having a bunch of plants there, there’s a few houses nearby that have these gardens that crawl over their wall and whatnot and I’ve always thought they’re so cool. The main problem is the same as with me having a pet, I tend to travel un prompted for almost one week at a time and I don’t really have anyone nearby I feel comfortable bothering to be like “hey, check on this thing kthxbye”.
Well, there was also the part where I couldn’t take care of myself so taking care of something else was unrealistic, but thankfully I’m past that point. Now it’s mainly the logistics.

I’ve got singing lesson tomorrow and by God I’m not missing another one fucking hell.
