Card Fight

Today’s deck is the Silent Desolate Tarot.

Such an ominous name for such a lovely deck.

“Fortune” is a deck-specific card alongside “Phoenix” With that in mind, today’s reading feels like it’s saying that NOW is the time to start doing things.

Which I did! Kinda… I basically took the start of the day to finish an Uma Musume blogpost that had been in the docket for basically a year by now.

It was basically done aside from fact checking a couple of things which was part of why everything else keeping me out of writing has been so frustrating.

I also had to reschedule my dentist because I thought the appointment was tomorrow, not realizing tomorrow’s saturday. Oh well.

Honestly, the biggest news was that Paypay approved me a credit card.

So in case you don’t follow the blog daily (or forget because I ramble about way too many things), I was stuck in Card Hell due to a lot of nonsense so I tried out applying for a card (not even a credit card, just a debit card, really) in three different banks, one of which I already receive my salary in.

And about one month of white hairs later I finally got one approved and wouldn’t you know it, it WASN’T the one in which I already got my salary in.

On one hand the card works nicely, but on the other I’m starting with no credit score so I have a limit of 30.000 yen which is… nothing, honestly, so gotta be patient about it. Especially because they don’t let me pay it in advance.

It’s a situation where, to sum up: It was easier for me to get a credit card instead of a debit card, and I got it approved on the institution where I DON’T have my money nor my savings.

I love this country and I’ll spend the rest of my days here if I have any say on the matter, but fuck me that’s the nonsense where if people leave because they couldn’t stand it I can easily go “yeah…”.

I finally got some fancy Belko prints I ordered a while ago, and it made me think that man, I haven’t even unpacked or transferred the trip’s photos to the PC. I should do that tomorrow.
