Today’s reading advices to trust my own intruition in matters of both inspiration and the responsability that it inevitably entails.
I woke up at 4AM which is a good hour to wake up to, I think. It’s what my mom calls “old man schedule”.
I was preparing to do The Bank Chore and I wanted to bring one of the girls with me because I was like “I’m gonna treat myself by taking pics after the nonsense is done”. Then, choosing clothing, I noticed this one bin I have full of chinese dresses… and then I remembered “wait, when is Chinese New Year again?”.
The 29th, next week.
I now have an excuse (read: a theme) to go out and take pics before my next trip next month.
I eventually decide to go out and I notice there’s these cones with equipment on the side of the road. Apparently it’s a “geological investigation”.
On the one hand, media has been warning about a superquake since last year when there was the January 1st earthquake, but on the other it’s just on the side of the Shinkansen tracks and nowhere else in the city, so who knows.
Eventually I make it to Ashiya and I was kinda surprised that my head wasn’t trying to split itself open. Every time I revisit (or rediscover) a spot I haven’t been to since before 2021, I tend to feel a very specific sort of “brain cracking open” feeling as my brain trips over a memory blurred by stress and goes “oh, this wasn’t a dream”.
It might be the specific timeframe where I went there, or it might be personal improvement on the whole, who knows?
As I mentioned yesterday, the online bank service thingamabob only goes back one calendar year so I had to request them to print the register before then, I was also going to take the chance to ask them about some transfer and iof they needed extra documents.
Then, after sorting the other stuff, they handed me some documents they had to give me a while back.
I finished THREE bank tasks in one day! THREE! I was so happy about it. I earned that small photoshoot.
I didn’t see any spots for what I had in mind in Ashiya so I headed back and decided to try out Hattori Ryokuchikoen. I was also starting to feel sleep creep in on me so I decided to not get to crazy.
Needless to say, in love with the result, though I’m sad that the lighting was at its best when I didn’t notice the skirt was lifted too much. Still really happy with the result though.
Today was a good day overall! No complaints. Edit: Last minute stuff came up but I’m not dealing with that shit sleepy, it can wait until I wake up.
