New month, let’s see what the cards say I have in store for this month.
Timeline-wise (columns, left to right, past to future): It’s gonna start by heading into new struggles, abundant bonds will show themselves in the darkest moemnts, and I’ll find a way out of feeling left out with no recourse.
Mentally (rows, top to bottom, conscious to subconscious): It says I feel in a path of both hope and despair, that I feel like my hands are tied with interpersonal things, but that ultimately what I want is to do something to not feel left out.
Ultimately (center card blocked by the surroundings) all I want is is the joy of bonding but old traumas and current circumstances are in the way.
Like last month, no need to make notes about this, it’s all spot-on.
Mood not exactly good today… but gotta push through it.
So for starters I wanted to go to the beach today, but not only did I not have anything prepared, but I remembered it was SUNDAY and fuck trying to get anywhere on Sundays.
I decided I should try and get some work out of the way so I can hypothetically set aside the day tomorrow for that.
This was… the first obstacle of the day.
Executive dysfunction was in overdrive, so much so that I had to double check that I did take my meds today. Which I did, but when I’m stressed no amount of dosage is gonna help me.
But after groaning and kicking and making a reservation for a doll photo studio on Friday because Fuck It, I was capital D Done in more ways than one.
I didn’t have a big plan, so I just went to Nipponbashi and played it by ear.
I got sushi, and then went to a karaoke where you could I was Going Through It because I opened the session up with What I’ve Done by Linkin Park.
I do wanna try that song out in singing lesson though… man, I’ve not taken a lesson in a couple of months, it’s been busy.
It was like 8 so I decided to head to Evil and see if I could finish the unwinding with some booze. It wasn’t open so I decided to wait, if by the half hour mark it wasn’t open I’d just head back.
As you can guess by the wording it was closed by the 30 minute mark and I headed back, but I did see something fun.
So the building that houses Evil is one of those Japanese buildings full of a bunch of one room small bars. Right across the hallway there’s a bar called Legend and the name fits it because the sign and door are all Leopard Print. I think there was a party or a birthday or something today because it was full and lively.
In one of those moments where people enter, a lady and an Ojisan are entering, the door hasn’t finished closing and next thing I see the Ojisan is being pushed out, walking backwards, all the while a second Ojisan is kissing him on the mouth and all the women from the inside are going wild.
It was, as the kids say, pure cinema.
Not much else today. But one way or another I’ll treat myself to Goblin Time tomorrow.
