Today’s deck is the Another Universe Tarot.

It’s nice, though it didn’t have anything that immediately popped out to me.
Today’s reading is just reassuring me that I have what it takes to face the struggles ahead.
Something something, foreshadowing something.

Boy it’s fucking RAINY.
It’s the sort of annoying Eternal Drizzle sort of rain, but still. My tropical-born ass isn’t made for those, I’m built for storms that put the fear of God in you but end in like an hour.
At least I didn’t wake up coughing my lungs out… I started coughing them later but I didn’t wake up straight into that.
I have to pick up my ADHD prescription at night but I’ve got a few things to do until then. In fact the day started with a meeting, nothing too crazy, just catching up with a business partner.
During the call I realized that a knife I got a little while ago became a fiddling item.

This one, a Buck Cavalier.
The curious thing is that the fiddling doesn’t even involve pulling the blade out. When I fiddle with things it’s more about holding it than manipulating it, and there’s just something about this form factor that’s nice to the hand.
Speaking of items, I’ve been deliberating now that the balcony is free on getting one of those tall toolboxes like you see in garages and whatnot. Especially to consolidate all the knives and tools I have all over the place.
I’m holding back the impulse, however, since I might not need such a drastic measure. First I want to sort the broom closet in the balcony so I can put the power washer and steam cleaner there. I suspect I might be able to also put all the disparate toolboxes there and then determine how much of a necessity the toolbox would be.
Which reminds me: I got a couple of first aid kits the other day. Around here they’re always all like “OH BOY THE BIG QUAKE IS COMING WE HAVEN’T HAD A HUGE QUAKE IN KANSAI SINCE THIS YEAR WE’RE OVERDUE”. That fear seems to come and go and when it comes they sell generators and emergency supplies and I figured fuck it why not. A first aid kit is for more than just natural disasters after all.

Time to pick the prescription came and I decided to pick my meds tomorrow, I’m getting sleepy.
