As with every Friday I had Japanese lesson. When talking with my teacher he was actually very interested in streamers and streaming. More specifically about what leads someone to do that and how it works.
There was also a funny moment where I tried to say “loyal” and we cycled through “Royal”, “Lawyer”, and “Roger” beforehand.
After the lesson we made the runs around Shinsaibashi looking at shops, we actually went to a Book Off where I got a bunch of random books in English.
No, I didn’t get Linday Ellis’ one, I just found it super curious to see it there.
We had sushi (not before stumbling onto a Vegan Sushi place funnily enough) and then headed to this bar called EvilOsaka.
A funny detail is that they haven’t changed the plate on the building’s directory, so they had stickers.
The place is great, and I’m gonna be honest it’s so nice I might think about going on my own just for the heck of it.
It’s a Mix Bar (not Mixer Bar, as I always joke about) meaning it’s a bar for gays and lesbians and anyone in-between. It’s an LGBT space basically.
The atmosphere was cozy, the staff was charming, we might head back again tomorrow because it was that fun.
By the way, I think I’ve mentioned it before, but did you know that Kobe Beef places in Osaka have a Spiderman statue to indicate they’re such?
