Today’s reading is the Eldritch Overload Tarot.
It’s very Shadowrunner-y, very cool. My only complaint is that the text isn’t that clear but keep in mind this is a bootleg of it.
Today’s reading feels like it’s directly related to something I can’t talk about so… yeah.
Some people say summer starts with the solstice, but as far as I’m concerned summer starts when I see all the windows in every single building fog up at once.
It’s also when the humidity gets to the point you feel it cling onto your skin. Before long the nights won’t be a respite from the heat anymore.
Though to be fair, with the weather being as Ass as it is, it’s not like the daytime brings in any more sun in particular.
I’m definitely feeling the call of the beach though, an urge to get into the Nankai and pick a beach at random. let my skin get a bit more color and stuff.
Speaking of skin color, I went to the Volks shop in Nipponbashi to see if they had anything new and I put in an appointment for a tan-colored custom doll.
Basically Volks has a system where you can go in and pick from a selection of parts like head and body, and from April to September a “tan” color becomes available. And being the bitch with predictable tastes that I am, I like getting one of those whenever I can.
With the idea in mind I checked their website to see what was new and these new faces are gonna kill me oh my God.
I’m getting a big girl instead of a small one, but still!
I got kinda excited also when I saw that they added options for the jitome head they released a while back.
If you go look up the storepage for this type of head, they have this as one of the samples of what you could do with it.
And yet the two makeups available in Dream Choice with that head type are these…
If I had to take a marginally educated guess, it’s possible that all the dream choice makeup is applied with a stencil to ensure its consistent mass production so they’re using the face stencil for the other face types… but man they could capitalize on the eye shape a bit more, I think.
Still excited about tomorrow, though.
