Today-s deck is the Wild Reflections Tarot.

OR IS IT?! Because then the back calls it “Paws Tarot”.

Today’s reading advises to not get swept in nostalgia, for it can have as many nasty things as nice ones.
I’m not nostalgic, but I’ve talked about reconnecting with the bits of myself left in the rubble, so it’s good advice to have.

You know, I wasn’t expecting my statement yesterday about taking it easy to be fucking foreshadowing.
I went to bed at like 4AM thinking “well, by normal metrics I’ll wake up at like midday”.
I WOKE UP AT 3PM ON THE DOT.
I HAD JAPANESE LESSON IN HALF AN HOUR.
I made it to the lesson with only 15 minutes but 15 minutes of lesson are better than no minutes of lesson in a week.
The problem with waking up so late was the fact that on top of the issues with the lesson, my time to do… anything, really, was cut short very suddenly.

I did give Richard the steam cleaner, though. I sent a pic of it to N and she was like “could’ve sworn you had one, you feel like the kind of person that would lready have one”.
I mean…
Yeah.
I did also buy an halogen bulb for the small lighton top of the kitchen sink (inspired by replacing the light bulbs near the bathroom sink) and it didn’t work. I thought it was something to do with the outlet, but then I remembered that the OTHER lightbulb in the kitchen which is also halogen got pissy when I tried to use the kind that’s just an LED with different sockets.
However, by the time I realized this, it was better to just wait until tomorrow because you see, by then I hadn’t showered and I hadn’t even eaten.
But also I needed to go out to get ingredients to begin with so I prayed that a bag of chips would suffice for the roundtrip from the supermarket.
It did, thankfully.

By the way, I got a “fancy” vegetable peeler, basically fancier by packaging and price and HOLY SHIT, never in my life had I peeled carrots that ended up NOT looking dry afterwards what the hell.
This might actually make me bite the bullet and buy one of those fancy shmancy Japanese cooking knives…
