Today’s deck is the Haniwasama Tarot.

It’s pretty good! Too bad my childish sense of humor makes me think of it and the rich cultural legacy it comes from as “the dildos deck”.
Today’s reading talks about being on the cusp of a personal epiphany with regards to independence. And I guess it would be the fact that while I love having visits around, I really don’t mind living alone.

For reasons I cannot quite fully explain I woke up thinking about Chouja Reideen and its janky ass 90s CGI.
I have a semi-ironic love for that show in that I wouldn’t call it “good” but it’s like watching a period piece of the late 90s. The designs, the CGI, the attempt at a boy band… you need to be in a very specific mood appreciate it but if you are OH BOY does it hit right.
So as I often do when I remember obscure anime nobody talks about I went looking for any merch and I actually found a poster and some manga adaptations.
They really REALLY tried to make these boys a thing, God bless them for the attempt.

So after E woke up and after a bit I decided we should go out and explore. A while ago I mentioned an area of Sakuranomiya that I didn’t know about and I wanted to head there.

We ended up at Shirokitakoendori Station and there was actually a neat shopping street by the area.

The area actually has some things named after some poet called Yosa Buson, which was interesting.

We ended up at Kema, which is a park near the Yodo river. I was so giddy because it was basically like the park area I used to frequent that got turned into a camping zone and I’m still so bitter about that.

I also took Nadeshiko with me. Specifically I was prepping Nadeshiko, Himeno, and Midori. But I couldn’t find good shoes for Himeno and I felt like Midori needed an extra… something, so Nadeshiko won by fitting with a more fitted fit.

We circled around to return. I was thinking about maybe heading to Umeda and going to Nipponbashi since I wanted to get those shoes for the girls, but I decided to play it safe so we returned to Shin Osaka and had ol’ reliable Kamukura.
Then we got up and I could feel my heels screaming bloody murder and decided I should pace myself probably, so I called it a day there.
Wanted to also go to Evil, but there will be a chance for that later also.
