Today’s deck is the Fantasy Planet Tarot.
At first I thought it was an GenAI deck, but it’s more like… it has the general style that GenAI bros try to ape on. But I couldn’t find any of the usual signs that it was.
It sucks when a style starts being associated with certain crowds, though it’s nothing new, when NFTs were all the rage I remember a very specific kind of Japanese illustrator that would, without fail, have a link to an NFT shop in their profile.
Today’s reading is saying “beware indecision”. And you know I’m realizing I tend to sum up the readings a bit too much sometimes, like for example this one specifically is saying “beware indecision because its consequences and conflict from said consequences will escalate fast”, but the idea remains.
My sleep schedule is currently pushing forwards as it tends to do. Hopefully the focus on fixing the room and whatnot will help me push ahead as needed.
First thing today was actually Sagawa coming to pick some boxes I was sending to Mandarake. It was super convenient because before I was using JP Post and using that meant that I had to manually write the shipping labels, which isn’t really a problem unless you’re sending a bunch of them and need to write in Japanese…
…though arguably it’s annoying even in romaji.
But with Sagawa I just told them where to send them and that was it.
So recently there’s been one extra THING I’ve had to deal with. Long story short the owner of the apartment that’s my current ofice wants to pass it to a different owner (family if I understand right) and since there’d be no guarantee that they’d allow to use it as an office I’ve had to look for a new place.
Well, rather, my landlady has been helping me with that.
The thing with an office is that I NEED one but also paying for a full on office is a bit of a waste considering we mainly work through internet and I’m the main one using it. On top of that not every unit is allowed to be an office for a number of reasons, but the apartment building where I have my current office is one of the few that allows that.
It’s not just a matter of whether the owner allows it to be used that way or not, when you’re setting up an office there’s things like attaching photos of how the office is accesed and whatnot that makes the choice of a place trickier.
ANYWAY today I went to check possible new places, and it was raining like hell, which unlocked the memory of me going with this same landlady to check my first apartment and how it was also rainy that day.
On the way back I bought a bunch of containers for the sorting efforts (yeah it was raining, in my defense the rain had stopped partially when I decided to do that) and then I remembered something.
I hadn’t gone to the pharmacy to pick up my meds, had I?
I was still in good time to do that so after dropping things at my house I went to the pharmacy and left the prescription to pick them up tomorrow.
I then spent the rest of the night sorting the books room and I managed to get a shocking amount of progress done.
Today was Evil’s anniversary and I couldn’t go but it seems like they had a bunch of people drop by today, that was good to see.
