Today’s deck is the John Bauer Tarot.
This is another one of those where they grab an artist’s portafolio and assign it to cards. They’re always interesting because Tarot is all about the use of archetypes so seeing illustrations that happen to fit more by happenstance than by design is fun to see happen with that in mind.
Today’s reading recommend to take the clarity of moments of joy to think about what afflicts me in moments of pain.
If you’re reading these as they come out and wonder why there’s been a certain amount of absence (or see the date stamps, I guess). The reason is that it’s been a couple of very social days.
So to recap, two day ago I went to Evil, yesterday I went to a bar for a live show. Today I’m heading out for more drinks with some American friends.
The bar is super interesting though, it’s a Macross-themed bar with a LOT of memorabilia and such. There’s also a lot of themed drinks.
I was actually invited last year or two years ago but I had to skip for… some reason? I was either busy or sad or both.
Probably both.
The main thing is that we were hanging out in a couch to the side, so it felt less like a bar and more like a lounge, time flew by and before we knew it it was about 10PM so we decided to get some food.
Slight miscalculation there, turned out everything was closing but we did get some fried chicken and other stuff right before the Izakayas closed.
