Karasu dayo

Today0s deck is the Seasonal Fox Tarot.

I really like foxes, or at the very least the Japanese imagery of foxes specifically. This one is definitely going into rotation… just gotta keep it separate from the Lunalapin one.

To understand today’s reading, you gotta know that I’ve been thinking a lot about like… basically pushing other stuff (responsabilities, priorities, etc) aside in order to make one of the projects I wanna make, and today the cards are going “no need to rush, fool”.

I had chiropractor today so I basically woke up straight to that.

On the way I see a bunch of trash on the sidewalk, and right on cue I see an old couple going “karasu dayo ne…” (a crow, huh…).

Then literally the next block over what do I see?

He was having a blast.

Chiropractor wasn’t the best day today though.

For starters they put me on the bed and put the heating mantle on my back. Usual procedure… and then they keep me there for over half an hour.

And the thing is that I’m not just waiting, I’m lying there while hearing other clients come and go while I’m there laying down slowly cooking with the mantle.

At this point I’m thinking “well, as long as I get the service by the end it doesn’t matter”.

I finally get service and it’s a rookie that I could feel him shaking tring to put pressure. So the massage doesn’t massage and the stretch doesn’t stretch. Then someone else comes in and rushes the last few steps of the process, it will be 1100 yen like usual see you next week.

I was not happy. In fact I was kinda pissed.

It’s not even necessarily because of the bad service because that shit happens, I’ve gone to that place for almost 3 years now and around this time new graduates do internship, some are too rough, some too cautious.

No, it’s the fact that I wasted ONE HOUR doing nothing. I didn’t get the service I wanted, I couldn’t leave earlier, I paid for that shit.

I tend to not be good at hiding when I’m angry so hopefully my displeasure came through.

I returned home, tried to do some paperwork, and OH BOY the bank is in maintenence today I cannot do said paperwork.

Feeling the annoyances choke me I decided to just stop for the day and I went out with E to buy stuff.

We went to Don Quiijote to look at stuff and also to see if we could find a polarized filter for iphone camera… oddly enough Donki Umeda didn’t have phone accesories that I could find, like, not even chargers which is weird. Emphasis on “that I could find”, I’m not known for being a good finder.

On the way I also decided to start a new “tradition”.

You see, you always see stamps around in random places, in fact, the idea came from how Nunobiki Gardens too had a stamp when you got off the ropeway. So I figured it’d be cool to keep a notebook on my backpack and collect any that I see.

Apparently this one was for a “new Hankyu guide to walking through the railways”… and by “new” they meant “2017”.

I found an used copy for a reasonable price though.

We stopped by the semi-famous Namco Arcade to check the Gashapon and WHAT FUCKING YEAR IS IT????

Not pictured: Gundam Wing gashapon to add to the timeslip going on.

We checked the Gundam Base Pop Up store and alas they had a number system going on so we couldn’t just enter.

We finally hit Yodobashi Camera because I wanted to buy photo paper for photos of this trip and I was thinking about getting sushi when E remembered she mentioned she wanted to find Hanafuda cards so we returned to faff about for a while longer.

I figured we’re already there so we went to instead have sushi on the food court where we killed time for like an hour.

We did see a riseshare bike with a Genshin thingy on the side.

Oh also, this is the bit of video backlog that I uploaded today. There’s so much body language in the camera movemente of this one.

In the end the day was transformed into a nice day by the end which is always nice.
