Through the wind and the cracking of knees we carry on!
I’ve been thinking during this trip that a certain… emotional sting I tend to feel when alone is oddly absent? There’s always this point when I’m on a trip where I’m like “man if only I had someone to share this with”.
Dunno if it’s my social battery being slightly depleted after having the homies around for a month (zero complaints, mind you) or the fact that I’m thinking about what souvenirs I can bring to who, but that whole thing has not… been anywhere? Dunno if I’ll jinx it by saying that but it’s welcome nonetheless.
Anyway, today’s reading reminded me of that.

Once again I fall asleep at like 9PM only to wake up at like 1AM.
My body is annoyingly consistent once it catches a pattern, which would be a boon to anyone that’s not an ADHD-riddled bitch with chaotic schedule like me.
This time I tried to fall asleep again by which I mean I laid in bed looking at phone until sleep claimed me.
While doing that I saw a post that was like “what are some anime endings that are more famous than their openings?” and someone mentioned Betterman’s Chin -Tsurugi-.
I love the song, I love its lyrics about the sins of God being in your DNA, and I love the fact that it was performed BY THE ANIME’S OWN DIRECTOR.

After falling asleep again, I was woken up this time by the front desk. It was Mandatory Cleanup Day. Long story short, ever since COVID there’s a regulation where hotels MUST do cleanup every three days at least once.
So grumpy and all I figured it was as good a time as any to get some food.

I had crab.
It was good crab.
I checked some of the nearby shops and I decided to finally enter a shop that always catches my eye when I come here.

It’s basically a books cafe with its own original mascot and I love her. They had less merch of her than I expected but I did get a couple of pins and a hoodie.
The hoodie was a slightly odd choice considering today’s kinda hot, but the weather always changes after all.

With the cleanup done I returned to my room. The photo above is not from my room, my room window faces a construction tarp. ANYWAY, I returned to my room and after passing out for a couple of minutes I went back out to the cable car.

It was slightly crowded so I couldn’t do much cameras-wise but I completed the ritual by getting a hot dog once at the top.

It’s slightly surreal to me to see that bridge completed. When I first came here in 2021 there was nothing, then in 2022 the pillars were there kinda and now it’s done and I can go, I should go.
It’s surreal to me because I guess I’m not used to a country where those works are… you know, finished. My instinct is to be like “those pillars will remain there doing nothing forever”.
After reaxing for a bit I went to the observatory and took sopme pics with Maddie.

The outtakes are mainly me figuring from which angle to take them but I had a shocking amount of the vibe figured out going in. I also stopped right on time for another batch of people coming in to take pics and selfies and such.
Fun fact: Maddie’s tits are so big that the dress is unbuttoned on the back in all but her neck with the cardigan covering that.

I went back down and it was even more crowded than before.
I unwinded at the hotel and left the heavier stuff back. Honestly the process would be way smoother if not for the fact that I gotta go up very narrow stairs every time.

Anyway, dinner time came and today’s choice was Yakiniku.

I had to go to the Lawson that’s further away because the Family Mart close by didn’t have qtips, but it was a neat day on the whole.
