Today’s reading reflects the struggle ebbing and flowing of continuing steadily in the path of self-love.
Woke up in the mood to take photos, but I was waiting for a package. Nothing crazy just a couple doujinshi with Cash On Delivery as payment.
By the time they arrived, it was a bit too late for my taste, though. Let me explain real quick.
I wanna take Lucy out, and while I could do the safe thing and go to Nakanoshima as usual, I wanted to spice things up a little. Maybe Tennoji or Kobe.
But it was almost 7PM, it’s gonna be at least one hour to arrive to any given place plus the time to reach the spot after leaving the train, plus finding a cool spot after reaching the destination.
So I left Lucy dressed up and went out for a bit.
Ironically I did find a couple of neat spots on the way worth considering.
DQ Walk also started a new part of their Christmas event so I went to grind for that and it resulted on me reaching LVL 70 and unlocking a couple of classes.
I always saw newbie guides be like “make sure to unlock Dragon ASAP” but since those guides are also the kind that give tierlists for rerolls whereas my mindset is “if it’s not something I’ll feel like playing longterm no amount of rerolls will fix that”, I kinda ignored them.
So…
Tier 3 classes have “Walk Skills”, basically skills you activate with a bar that charges the more steps you take.
Dragon’s Walk Skill is to multiply how many Walk Points you get.
Walk Points is the one currency I constantly grind for since it’s how you unlock Main Story (and thus more features), accesories, and even King Slime maps that give you like 6 million EXP total a piece.
With that in mind I’m like “ok yeah unlock Dragon ASAP is good advice, actually”.
After returning I started the process of dressing up The Girls for the Christmas photo.
This will also double as choosing who to take tomorrow for the doll event, more on that later.
