AYYYYY I’M JUST A LITTLE GUY! IT’S MY BIRTHDAY!!
Today’s reading was very personal as per birthday tradition… and as such the result is very personal so I’ll keep iot to myself. What I will share is how it points out that I’m kinda sabotaging myself and how. But it’s a warning, the future can always change.
Buncha people congratulated me before I even said anything, some at midnight even, so the day already started in good spirits.
I don’t take many things for granted and birthday wishes is one of them, they say so much about people caring for you.
The whole drone registration thingy also passed! I paid for it, but I’m gonna do it all tomorrow.
For now I went out to take some photos… well, I went to get LUNCH and then tried to get photos but the heat beat my assl. Well… to be more specific the heat was kicking my ass and there was ZERO wind but I felt kinda able to push through… but then I noticed I forgot to pack the bases for the girls so the scales tilted towards strategic retreat.
I regrouped myself and went back down after the sun calmed a little bit.
I’m very glad these pics turned out well because honestly I was taking them with sunglasses so I couldn’t see as well as I’d like. The new girl is Myst, she’s the one I got at the doll shop a while ago.
I also brought Maddie with me, who some of you might remember from my trip to Kinosaki Onsen.
I forgot if I brought this up before, but she’s called Maddie beause her colors kinda give mermaid vibes so I called her that after Maddison from the movie Splash, which is, in fact, the reason Maddison became a popular name to begin with.
Now, if you’ll remember, I had a reservation today, it was at 8PM so after doing a bunch of math in my head I took the executive choice of taking pics at the roof of the hotel, that way I can leave my bags and go to the restaurant.
And I’m so glad I did because damn.
I’m especially proud of these ones.
On the clock I switch to a shirt that’s not absolutely drenched in sweat and go to the restaurant. I bought this sushi course last time I was here but this time I didn’t forget to take pics of it all dang it.
It was the right amount too, by which I mean that by the time I was like “I can’t take a single bit or I’ll explode” I was done.
And so I passed out from booze-fueled food coma on the balcony while a nice breeze blew.
This is a birthday for the books, I think.
