Today’s deck is the Phantom Tarot.
This is one of those decks that are of sliiightly dubious authenticity. I bring it up mainly because there’s no booklet with credits. It might be original for all I know, just low on the presentation front maybe? The illustrations are most definitely cool
ANYWAY, today’s reading reflects an inner state of feeling left out as the exhaustion of money-related things sets in.
What money-related things? Well here’s a brief explanation that I can’t remember if I gave before.
I don’t use credit cards, instead I have debit cards that I recharge straight from the bank. Makes things easier to handle. The one snag is that it’s not the bank directly that does it but rather a second card company that processes things and recharges the card.
Two days ago I put an order to recharge, it didn’t pass yesterday which is… fine, I’m used to them taking an extra day sometimes. But I wake up at like 8PM and there’s still no recharge so I drag my sleepy ass out of bed to make a fucking phone call.
Spoilers: it didn’t recharge by the end of the day, which is a problem because it was friday, meaning it’s not gonna fall onto the card until Monday… if I’m lucky, because I think they’re on holiday on Monday so it’s most likely on Tuesday assuming they don’t delay the thing like they usually do at the start of the week, in which case congrats! A full seven days without MY MONEY being usable.
There’s nothing I hate more than being prevented from using my hard-earned cash because of silly things like this.
By the way, one time they blocked a card of mine because I used to recharge Toracoin to pay in Fantia and they thought it was crypto.
That one I hold more as one of the many many MANY reasons I despise techgrifters, but still.
I’m just tired man, admittedly it’s less doom and gloom than yesterday but I’m still kinda spent.
I also decided to do laundry the one day where it decided to get really gloomy outside, and I haven’t even unpacked my luggage.
I did organize some of the framed stuff I’ve gotten, though. Putting all the signed ones in the same place. The one to the right is actually signed by TWO artists since it was a collab piece.
I then put these two on the wall besides my TV.
Out of curiosity I decided to look if Belko had any like these and wouldn’t you know it I look that up the same day they announce these kinds of prints in Melonbooks.
And so, my wishlist of illustrators I’d like premium prints of (not counting More From The Ones I Already Have) goes off the top of my head: Kantoku, AsahiFM, Tousens, Jin Happoubi, INO, Karine Yukari, and Nonco.
I can probably drop more names if asked, but this is basically “name artists you like that you don’t have a piece of or a piece preordered” territory.
Getting a piece from Delaware (the artist, でらうえあ) would be neat, but there’s it’s the sort of situation where I was lucky Milk Factory decided to release artbooks, like, at all.
I also got this in the mail while I was asleep, I saw the first episode with E and got hooked.
I also sorted doll clothing… roughly speaking at least. I separated the clothes into the ones for summer but I’m gonna need to set aside the ones I actually intend to use, and also I wanna set the more universal pieces into their own container, “universal” meaning things that I’m gonna use constantly like underwear and socks.
As for plans… I wanna just Tune Out until Monday, hopefully Tuesday.
