Today’s deck is the Tarot of Inari Shrines in Japan.

I love it. It’s EXTRA good because right before it I had the displeasure of finding out the deck I thought about showing today was AI-generated.
With mental hangups about having fun with others resurfacing (by which I mean: My bitch ass brain cannot allow itself to be happy without twisting itself into a pretzel), today’s reading reassures me that I’ve got control over myself that should help me balance my life on that front.

Another Friday another Japanese lesson, the main difference this time was the slight spook of seeing my teacher with an allergic reaction.
He was fine, it happened yesterday and he doesn’t know why just yet, but man…
After the lesson I had a very specific craving for Gyukatsu. Gyukatsu is basically thinly breaded beef (think: Tonkatsu but with beef instead of pork), though the way it’s served is as a rare steak that you can then finish up however you want in a hot plate.
There’s a place in Nipponbashi that I like that sells it and I tried many times to go with E but was always full.
Well, as I’m thinking about that, turns out they opened a restaurant that sells exactly that by Umeda almost like listening to my prayers. It was very good. And you know it was good because I forgot to take a pic of it.
There wasn’t much else to report afterwards. I bought a set of those like… inner curtains that are more mesh-like? I also started filling in another bookshelf, this time with media like DVDs and Blurays.
So let’s talk about the photos I got the other day!

Again, they were with the Pentax, but this set has the opposite thing from last time. I took all of these pics with the default vertical way, which means the vertical photos are showing up horizontal.
Last time I didn’t rotate them because I wanted to illustrate what half-frame mean, this time I’m not rotating them because it’s HILARIOUS.

My main concern was focus (just like me frfr), since the Pentax deals with that via a dial with presets, but the only issue was when I tried to take photos up close, it was very forgiving otherwise.

The one pic I took of Akane looks great too, I’m glad the focus was as forgiving as it was.

I’ve got plenty of stuff I wanna do in mind, but I’ll take the weekend to sort my brain on that matter.
