Today’s deck is the Desire Mirror Gaze Mirror Tarot.
Thank God it had a name or I would’ve called it the “Menstrual Pad Deck”.
Today’s reading reflects a feeling like things aren’t paying off fast enough. I’m in visa renewal season, that’s just how I normally feel during it.
Still adrift. Still confused what day it is, but it is, for all legal purposes, Monday.
I did, however, get to work and even finished a whole ass devlog while at it.
I felt VERY satisfied with it, not just because I was able to finish all the pending matters for the current “stage” of development, but also because it’s one of those magical times where Hyperfocus kicks in for work.
I’m thinking that I wanna make the development cycle part of the process, by which I mean leaving a record of how the game looked on its earliest graybox stages and then towards the end result.
There’s plenty of people that do that out there, but it’s not something you see brought up at “bigger” scale. We’re not a big company by any means but we have a product with merch and that’s the sort of scale where that sort of transparency dies.
Now, I’ve been doing exactly that so far. but I mean, like, making official channels for the project and sharing THAT.
Nothing too interesting beyond this, though.
