On the way to Izu

Time for another trip! This time with the Everyday Tarot.

I’d rather not talk about it just because it’s a private matter (of the “paying bills” variety) but today’s reading reminded me of something that was definitely good to keep in mind.

Basically it reminded me of which order I should put the things in queue in.

Last night was hell to sleep. Every so often I get his odd… I call it “sleep hiccup”, it’s not an actual hiccup but it’s like I’m almost falling asleep and the moment I do I jolt awake over and over and over and over again.

One minor theory I have is that it’s gas-related somehow. I don’t know HOW, though. It’s more of a gut feeling.

Not a literal gut feeling though, otherwise I would be sure without a doubt.

After getting out of bed I started sorting things for the trip. I woke up at like 3AM roughly and my goal was to start making my way out around… 10AM. It’s about 5 hours on the road in total and that would mean I arrive after check-in time hopefully.

I’m curious about where this hotel is in relation to my last trip. Basically I’m heading the same way and I assume taking the same bus but stopping elsewhere.

By the way, I know it’s the exact same path because I have to stop in Mishima and take the bus there and I made SO MANY Tekken jokes last year.

This time I’m bringing Mimi with me, but I’m also bringing a new girl called Asagi. Asagi is a DDP but her chest size is a new 3L that Imoneko just released and that causes… interesting problems. The chest size overall is on par with Large sizes by bigger doll sizes, and DDP is already in an odd spot where clothes for MDD look smaller. The result is that I gotta basically use big sized tops and small sized bottoms.

And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Asagi is Mimi’s sister. Mimi is inseparable from Flare but their dynamic is meant to be like… like a cat and a rabbit. A carnivore and a herbivore that by happenstance can get along really well.

With this in mind, Asagi is meant to be more like a cow (simile very much intended), still a herbivore but bigger than the other two. Also more passive and calm than jumpy and nervous.

I packed a school uniform for each in case I find a good spot with sakura trees, and also something coordinates both of them just to be cute.

(Sorry for the lack of photos, but I’ll make sure to fix that.)

I’m only traveling four days instead of five this time around (hence the mixup where I almost left the house yesterday), which means two full days of exploration only.

That was kinda by choice though, since I spent so much time with V earlier in the month. I still wanted to have a trip and explore.

While sorting things I FINALLY found my iPad. As I suspected it was just Under Something, but unlike what I suspected, it was under something Blue, like its cover, so object permanence was extra thrown off.

I forget if I mentioned that I was looking for my iPad a while back and grumbled how it was always within arms reach until I actually needed it.

The road was very uneventful outside of seeing a dude with a small cactus on the bottle pocket of his backpack.

Beyond that the route WAS basically the same as last time. Shinkansen to Mishima and then train to Shuzenji, and then after that I even took the same bus.

That said I dropped off WAAAAAAAAAAY earlier than last year.

It was roughly 10 minutes from bus stop to hotel and there was actually a PA voice going “it is now 4:30, kids should return home”.

The hotel turned out to be super nice and I copmpletely forgot it came with a balcony bath!

It actually comes from a spring under the hotel so it flows constantly instead of needing to fill it first.

The in-room dinner came in and it was then that I lamented having eaten so much in the train beforehand.

It was so good though.

I’m calling it early today, though thankfully my sleep schedule has been pushed into something more normal relatively fast.
