Today’s reading feels like encouragement that the change I want will happen and to just be patient.
Have I mentioned I’m in visa renewal season? Because I am.
They came to pick up the luggage today, what I didn’t expect was the mailman to remember my last attempt when I tried to mail to Okinawa but had to cancel.
It feels nice to be a local that people recognize even in passing. Especially when you’ve been living here for eight years at one year visa intervals.
From there I took a quick nap and when night time hit I went to Evil for a while.
The bar has been doing different themed bars during the week. For example instead of being a lesbian mix bar, it becomes a general mix bar on Sundays, and now they’re adding a third “mode” where it becomes mainly a karaoke bar on Fridays.
The woman that’s gonna handle that was there today so I got to meet her and it was mad fun. Her favorite Kamen Riders are Black and Agito, and we sang the Kinnikuman theme in duet.
Even after she left I just had a blast chatting away. I left at like 2AM or something like that on a cab and the booze and stuff kniocked me out when I got home.
